To achieve the designation, you must pass two exams, which may be scheduled separately and taken in any order.
ITIL Transformation exam details
- Duration of 90 minutes (25% extra time for candidates taking the exam in a language other than their native language)
- Open book
- 40 multiple choice questions
- Passing score: 28/40 marks - 70%
If you do not pass this exam part and have not purchased the Take2 option, you can retake it purchasing the ITIL Transformation exam - for RETAKE.
ITIL MPT - Product, Service, Experience exam details
- Duration of 120 minutes (25% extra time for candidates taking the exam in a language other than their native language)
- Open book - Only the ITIL Product (Version 5), ITIL Service (Version 5), and ITIL Experience (Version 5) official books are permitted, no other material is allowed
- 60 multiple choice questions
- Passing score: 42/60 marks - 70%
If you do not pass this exam part and have not purchased the Take2 option, you can retake it purchasing the ITIL Managing Professional Transition exam - for RETAKE. This Retake exam is applicable also if you do not pass either of the exam parts.
